What do Jamie Wallen, Dawn Cavenaugh, Angela Walters, gadgets, thread, books, zippers, stencils, pantographs and the most amazing Quilt Show have in common?  Machine Quilter’s Showcase, (MQS).  My friend Angela and I have just returned from a fantastic week of classes with some of the most talented quilters in the longarm quilting world. I have been given new life and been inspired to move from the back of my machine to the front and tackle grid work, background fillers and modern quilting.  When we weren't in classes we were in the vendor mall filling our shopping bags or viewing the most amazing quilts at the Under the Sea Quilt Show.  It is so hard to decide what was the highlight of the week.  I will take some time to reflect as I get back in the swing  of things and try out some new ideas.    What a great week!

A New Beginning

This will be my second attempt at a blog.  I had started one in 2009 and it was not the time in my life to try something new that required more of me than I was able to give.  Fast forward to 2012 - a new beginning in blog world.  The focus of this blog will be longarm quilting with occasional glimpses into other areas of my life.  Wish me luck.
